Terms of service

Clear expectations. Thoughtful use.

Operator: Bravecreation Inc. (“Bravecreation,” “we,” “us”), registered in Denver, Colorado.
These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Bravecreation Inc., the company that operates Kaslo.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, paying for a plan or credits, or using Kaslo — including Kaslo.app, Jobs.kaslo.app, and My.kaslo.app — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and change the date above. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will try to give reasonable notice by email or in the product.

2. The service

Kaslo is a job discovery and application-support service aimed at product designers. Jobs.kaslo lets you browse listings and save a shortlist. My.kaslo is the signed-in workspace for tracking roles, scoring fit against your story and Work Profile, and generating application and interview materials with AI.

Kaslo supports your own evaluation. Rankings, decoded overviews, fit scores, coaching, drafts, and other outputs are aids — not a guarantee of interviews, employment, compensation, or any other outcome. Hiring decisions belong to employers. Confirm every listing with the original posting before you apply. See also AI & disclosures.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. You need an account to use My.kaslo. Sign-in is provided by our authentication vendor (currently Clerk). Keep your login accurate and protect access to it. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Do not share your account. Do not use someone else’s account. Tell us at kaslo.app@gmail.com if you think access was compromised.

4. Your materials

You keep ownership of content you submit — résumé text, Work Profile, My Story, notes, pasted job descriptions, and similar materials (“Your Content”). You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate enough for your own job search.

You grant Bravecreation a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and create derivative outputs from Your Content solely to operate and improve Kaslo for you (for example, generating a tailored draft or a fit brief). We do not claim ownership of your career story.

Review generated materials before you send them. You are responsible for claims about your experience. Do not submit content you are not allowed to share (another person’s private data, confidential employer documents you have no right to upload, malware).

Some job-level insights (for example a neutral decode of a public posting) may be reused across users when they describe the posting, not your profile. Personal notes, status, fit, and generated materials tied to your account stay yours.

5. Listings and third parties

Job postings may come from public boards and employer career sites (including sources such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and Himalayas) or from what you add yourself. We do not control employers. Listings can be wrong, incomplete, stale, or withdrawn.

Checkout, authentication, hosting, and AI generation are provided in part by third parties (including Polar for payments, Clerk for accounts, and model providers for AI). Their terms apply to their services. We are not those companies.

6. Responsible use

You may use Kaslo only for your own lawful job search (or a search you are authorized to run). You agree not to:

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse fair use. We will try to be proportionate. We may terminate immediately for serious or repeated misuse.

7. Plans, credits, and payment

Kaslo offers a free workspace with a limited trial of AI features, paid subscriptions, and optional credit packs. Current US-dollar prices shown in the product (and subject to change with notice) include:

Payments are processed by Polar (or another processor we name in the product). You authorize charges to the payment method you provide. Taxes may apply. Beta prices are promotional and may change; we will not silently convert an active term to a new price without the notice we give in Polar or in-product.

Cancel through the billing portal in My.kaslo (hosted by Polar) to stop the next renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless Polar or the law requires otherwise. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for unused credits or unused time in a billing period. Founder “unlimited” is for a single job-searcher using Kaslo as intended — not for resale, shared seats, or automated bulk generation. We may throttle or cap obvious abuse.

Using the marketing site or the terms page does not, by itself, create a paid subscription. Checkout in My.kaslo does.

8. Our intellectual property

Kaslo, the Kaslo name and marks, the software, design, and documentation are owned by Bravecreation Inc. or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service for your job search under these Terms. You may not copy the product, remove notices, or use our marks without permission.

9. AI, availability, and no warranties

The service is provided “as is.” AI outputs can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Fit is not an employer’s view of you. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free listings, or that the service will meet a particular search goal.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bravecreation Inc. and its officers, directors, and contractors will not be liable for lost jobs, lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Kaslo.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Kaslo in the three months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars ($50). Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Bravecreation Inc. against claims that arise from Your Content, your use of generated materials, or your violation of these Terms or the law — except to the extent we caused the harm.

12. Termination

You may stop using Kaslo and close your account by contacting us. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if we shut down or materially change the service, or if we are required to by law. After termination, sections that should survive (including 4, 8–11, 13, and 14) remain in effect. We may delete Your Content after a reasonable period, except where we must retain it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence still apply. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless a law that cannot be waived requires otherwise.

Before filing a claim, email kaslo.app@gmail.com with a short description of the issue and a way to reach you. We will try to resolve it informally first.

14. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Bravecreation Inc. about Kaslo. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization. You may not assign them without our consent. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. There are no third-party beneficiaries except as stated for our officers and contractors in section 10.
